These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the contract between you and Signs At Wholesale in relation to purchases made through our Site serving UK customers. By using our Site or placing an order you agree to these Terms. Some parts of these Terms only apply to consumers (individuals buying goods for personal use) and not to businesses.

1. Orders & contract formation
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. We will confirm acceptance of your order by sending an Order Confirmation email. The contract is formed when we send the Order Confirmation unless we explicitly state otherwise.
Orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for legitimate business reasons.
2. Prices & taxes
Prices shown include applicable UK VAT where applicable. If VAT is not charged you must pay any applicable import VAT and duties. All duties and local taxes are the responsibility of the customer unless we explicitly state otherwise.
3. Delivery & risk
We will deliver to the UK address provided during checkout. Delivery times are estimates and begin from dispatch. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to the delivery address.
4. Right to cancel & returns (UK consumers)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013, you (as a UK consumer) have a 14‑day cancellation period to change your mind about ready-made online purchases (this excludes any custom/personalized sign).
Cancel within 14 days:

The 14‑day period starts from the day after you receive the goods.

If you cancel, you must return the goods to us within 14 days and we will refund standard delivery charges and the price of the goods (subject to deductions permitted by law).
Exceptions (important):

Custom or bespoke goods made to your specifications (for example, custom neon signs made to your artwork or measurements) are exempt from the 14‑day cancellation right. In such cases, once production has started or work is completed, sales are final unless faulty.

Perishable goods, sealed goods unsealed after delivery for health/hygiene reasons, and personalised goods are commonly excluded.
Faulty goods:
If goods are faulty, not as described, or do not match the sample, you have remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 including repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.
5. Refunds
We will issue refunds within a reasonable period after receipt of returned goods (typically within 14 days of your notice of cancellation, though merchants may withhold refunds until the goods are returned or evidence of return has been provided). Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
6. Custom orders & artwork
By submitting artwork or design instructions you confirm you have the necessary rights and licences for any third‑party content (logos, trademarked images, copyrighted artwork). We may refuse or pause orders where rights are unclear.
7. Warranties & liability
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. We will not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for losses arising from defective products is limited to repair, replacement, or refund. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent permitted by law.
8. Product safety & compliance
Certain products (for example electrically powered signs) may be subject to UK product safety regulations (e.g., Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016) and marking (UKCA). Where applicable, we will supply relevant safety and conformity information. If you sell our products on, you must ensure they are installed and used safely and in accordance with instructions.
9. Intellectual property
We retain ownership of all intellectual property in our website, brand, images and proprietary designs. By supplying material to us, you grant us a licence to use it for the purpose of producing the goods.
10. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising out of these Terms, except where you are a Northern Ireland or Scottish consumer in which case local consumer laws may apply.
If you are a consumer you may also use alternative dispute resolution (ADR) schemes; further details can be provided on request.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. You will be bound by the updated Terms if you continue to use the Site after they are posted.
